Diffuser Softbox
This page describes how to create a studio at home without breaking your bank!
Here I will explain and describe configuring my home studio. All my photos were taken in this study from home, so if you try to understand how it works, visit my gallery but thats limited by my abilities can best examples to see if a job or some of Claire. your settings are slightly different.
The following Interfit EX150 The kit comes with two 150 watts / sec Flash Heads, two lighting stands, a 60×60cm softbox, a white Translucent Umbrella, 100% Re-load Ready

The cover is removable and washable, and is a fit elastic base which also serves as a diffuser. I'l warn that advertising of this product is so poor. Sample Photos they use are terrible in my opinion, and I am sure they will lose many customers this way. I assure you that it works much better than what they show.

The IRX fits into the shoe of the camera, and emits a wide infrared beam which is applied no unit infrared sensitive flash, thus eliminating the need for a sync cable between the camera and flash and concerns about tensions synchronization DSLR's.
Lens?
I can recommend the Canon EF-S 60mm f/2.8 Macro USM highly enough. It This is a cracking lens produces sharp, detailed results. However, you need space to play. IDEAlliance have double doors that open in my room, it gives me the necessary space. If you're really limited space, I would not go higher than 30mm.
I also have the EF 50mm lens is a small and large f/1.8II clearer results after Note that you can pick it up for approximately 50 pounds if you look in the right places.

Settings and configuration
Firstly, I would say that not only copy what you write here … Experience! thats the fun in it and get the best results.
The lights illuminating the subject's face will be about 4 feet thereof and the lower edge of the box of light around up to his neck in a 45degree angle. to have the lights on the back of the same size also, but experience in which the angle Tilt them.
Something to remember:
Make sure the subject did not sit near the small back upright, as this will cause flooding of taillights on them producing effects fog horrible like below. If you feel far away and always have that effect foggy, it is likely that the flash is too powerful, so I reject it.

What is the functional difference between a softbox and a flash diffuser ?
I can see that they’re rather different in size, but do not really understand when are they used…
Basically they are used to provide softer more even illumination than straight flash. Softboxes are usually better for the purpose than flash diffusers, choice depends on the subjects, circumstances and portability.
