Canon Xsi
I love photography and I bought a Canon Eos Xsi (450D) last year from amazon.fr. I wished I had waited as Canon are preparing to launch its brand new successor to the T1i Canon (EOS 500D), which is very early (early May 2009).
The XSi is an ideal camera for the price and really strengthens the bridge between the amateur photographer and professional photographer as well. I thought I could not improve to be honest.
But they have. Oh, how nice they are.
The T1i EOS offers a lot for its price. Canon has incorporated many functions on the EOS 5D Mk II (which normally costs more than $ 2,500) and packaged in the body of T1i. And guess what? The dimensions are exactly the same the XSi before (except the 5g weight to be heavier).
What does the T1i have on the XSi?
The T1i has 15.1 mega pixels (cons only 12.2).
More advanced DIGIC 4 (compared to the XSi DIGIC III).
The ISO range is expandable to 12,800 compared to only 1600.
The Video Recording mode – can be used as a Video Camera, shooting up to 12 minutes (or 4 GB) of full HD video!
The HDMI connection for watching high-definition video.
A single feature that interests me is really stronger than T1i has a feature ideal for beginners – the area of creative self. When set to one of these areas, the camera manual for the settings to use via the LCD. Basically, the creative auto mode, it like having a built in teacher! I am tempted to trade my old XSi T1i buy just for that feature alone!
Many other features Series Canon cameras, are always there, like watching live cleaner sensors automatically remove dust and so on and storage on SD or SDHC cards.
Abstract:
I am looking forward to the release of this device in early May and will have to talk my wife into allowing me to technologies in a body so small and low prices. I do not know what to do, despite the transfer printing Wi-Fi and it would be nice. Need a connection to high speed as the most RAW images quality will be well beyond 20 MB.
As I said earlier, the XSi seemed to be a bridge between Amateur and professional but it seems that defeated T1i including a built in teacher! There is nothing worse than being on the field after having read something, but when you need this information, you forgot. The T1i you ask yourself how creative. I love my XSi to do.
Perhaps they also include a mobile Phone Camera too! Who knows, Stranger Things Have Happened!

What all wide angle lenses are compatible with Canon Rebel XSI?
Hi I have a Canon Rebel XSi. I would like to know apart from Canon which all Wide angle Lenses are available in India which are compatible with the body?
EF and EFS. also, Sigma make the best aftermarket lenses. next is Tamron. don’t buy quantaray (Ritz/Wolfcamera crap)
