Problems connecting with my router! Xbox?
Hey, i recently moved house and got a BT Home Hub, well im getting problems with it and need help, this is how i have it.
My phone line is connected to a filter thing, and then i have my ADSL cable i think it is connected to my home hub, my Laptop connection is working absolutely fine, my Xbox says that it is connected to the router just cant connect to xbox live. I don’t have any ethernet cables in because i have a wireless adaptor so do i need to connect an ethernet cable to something? Thanks.
Is BT Home Hub wireless router also? If so, set up the wifi setting(ssid name and password) and let Xbox connect to that ssid name with password.
If BT Home Hub is not wireless router, you need to get wireless router, set up the wifi setting, then let Xbox connect to it.
If BT Home Hub is not router(wired or wireless)-just modem, then you need to get router to connect more than 1 computer/equipment to the internet.
