question about my camera..?
Ok i have a Casio Exilim, 7.2 mega pixels. It was working
great until a few days ago.. It turns on but makes this really
werid ticking noise. Then the screen goes black and
it turns itself on without shutting the lens back in. If i press
the power button again, it ticks then the lens goes in. Then
the screen says “retry power on”. Also, it wont take
pictures or videos anymore. It hasnt been water damagaed
or anything. I keep it in a special pouch in my purse, it
has a few scratches but nothing major. The camera is
a little over a year old..
Is it broken beyond repair?
Sound like it fried on you, sorry.
If you still have a warranty for it, use it, otherwise, the odds are that it would be more expensive to get fixed than getting a new camera. But only a repair shop/store can really tell you.
