Nippon Kogaku
Can someone tell me what camera these lenses will fit?
I am looking to buy a Nikon Digital Slr camera. (Not sure which model yet. Either the D40, D50, D70 or D100, as a 6 mp is plenty of camera for mw right now.) So, I ran across a really good deal on 5 lenses. My question is, will these be compatible with a digital SLR? And, are these good lenses? Here is a list of the lenses I am looking to buy.

Hello,
Some of these lenses may physically attach to Nikon DSLRs, but they will not work well. You will have no autofocus or metering, so you’ll have to use a meter and take extra time to set up each shot. There is a point where camera makers just can’t keep backwards compatibility. It really isn’t a good idea to choose a camera based on a ephemeral deal on old lenses. However, Nikon does make good DSLRs. The D90 is a popular choice because it has great features and it accepts a wide variety of lenses.
